Columbus West Park to Host Health Care Seminar

COLUMBUS, Ohio— Columbus West Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1700 Heinzerling Drive, along with Odyssey HealthCare will co-host a seminar titled " Ethical Issues with Elder Abuse:  Hidden Victims, Hidden Crimes" on Wednesday, November 8 at 5:30 p.m.   Dinner will be served during the presentation.

Ursel McElroy, M.A., Program Coordinator for the Ohio Attorney General's Child and Elder Protection Section will discuss how elder abuse has a serious and devastating effect on its victims and the community as a whole.  She will discuss the elder abuse situation in Ohio, and how to recognize and respond effectively to elder abuse victims.  The seminar will provide CEU credits for RNs, LPN’s, LSWs, and LISWs.  Call 274-4222 for more information or to reserve seating.
