Columbus West Park Receives Near Perfect Survey From ODH
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Columbus West Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1700 Heinzerling Drive, recently received a near perfect survey from the Ohio Department of Health. The near perfect score means Columbus West Park met or exceeded all standards of care set by the state.
Long-term care facilities are surveyed annually by the state in several areas including falls, restraints, skin assessments, home-like environments, and elopement (the ability for residents to escape from the facility). Citations are issued when these areas are not compliant with the state’s standards of care. Facilities can be surveyed at any time without advance warning.
Columbus West Park is a family-owned and operated health care campus for senior citizens. The 100-bed facility at 1700 Heinzerling Drive offers skilled and rehabilitative care, a secure Alzheimer’s and dementia unit, and long-term care. Home health care and adult day care services are also available in a true home setting located on the campus just around the corner from the nursing and rehabilitation center at 2731 Clime Road.
