Testimonials

See what our residents have to say

Words like these help us to realize that no matter how beautiful a community you design what really counts is the people. The below is a small sample of the kind words we have received over the years from residents and their families.

"Thank you for all your help with Mom. We refer people to you all the time. All of you take the time to put TLC in your work. Also, thanks for letting us make payments on her bill!"

— Kathy A. Tryon

"I can't begin to thank you for all the loving care you gave 'Aunt' Stella during her stay at CWP. There is no way I could have left her some place that I didn't think the people cared for her - both physically and emotionally. Aunt Stella was very happy there and never complained about anything. Trust me - if she would not have been happy, she would have let me know in her own way! When she became ill a couple of weeks ago, I would have never been able to leave her -day or night - if your staff and Odyssey had not been with her. You are truly special people.

Our family was blessed the day we found CWP. I try to spread the word to anyone in need of help with their loved one that CWP is the best kept secret in town because your staff and facility are truly a RARE find.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!"

— The family of Stella Hanratty

"I felt if I gave it some time before I wrote this thank-you, the right words would come to me to say how blessed we were to have all of you taking care of our Mom. I still cannot find any word to express our gratitude. You truly were a wonderful 'family' to us, and to Vickie. I am in awe of the staff. Their kindness and caring of all the patients still amazes me. We said we will be back, and we will. We just need a little time. You are all angels and we will always be grateful to you."

— Dick & Terri Mills

"I can't begin to express my gratitude for everything all of you have done for Mel and me for the last six and one-half years. Everyone in every department has been so kind and caring. You were a second home for us the whole time."

— Jean

"The family of Beatrice Neil wishes to express our deepest thanks for all the loving & wonderful care you gave our Mother.

It was one of the most hardest things we had to do when we placed Mom in a nursing home, but your facility made it easier, and your wonderful support was appreciated."

— The Beatrice Neil family

"I can't begin to express my thanks and appreciation to you for your loving care of my sister, Jan. You were her family in our absence and provided for her every need. You were more than her caregivers - you were her friend!

Truly 'heaven sent' to do God's work for those in need. I am eternally grateful to each of you."

— Kristi, Jan Doan's sister

"I want to thank all of the employees of West Park who worked with Martha Taylor. She received excellent care and the family appreciates all of you.

A special thank you to Dayton, Karen & Linda. I know Mom was hard on them at times, but they always treated her with kindness and respect. "

— The family of Martha Taylor

"My name is Donna Neely. I am daughter #4 of Juanita Nunley, who was recently in yoru facility 12/8 through 12/23 for rehabilitation, due to a broken pelvis. I reside in Oklahoma, but kept very close tabs on my Mother's daily progress, knowing how determined that she was to NOT go to any nursing home EVER for any reason!! However...she has since changed her attitude and her criticism has now turned into praise & gratitude. We all (her family) thank God for West Park and especially for Monti and her entire crew, not to exclude the kitchen & housekeeping staff.

We know that each & every one of you were sent to us by God, because without you, my Mother could easily have been confined to a wheelchair or worse. So you see, each & every one of you truly were & are the result of answered prayers! Not only are we grateful for you, but we consider our family to be so very blessed, and we thank you, one & all from the very depths of our hearts. "

— The Nunley family

"I was privileged to stay at your facility for a couple of weeks recently, and as I told you in the hallway one afternoon, 'you have a well oiled machine.'

I would like to pick out one person who excelled during my stay, but the list would be nearly everyone in the place.  No one ever refused to serve a need and if it was some one else's responsibility they immediately pick you in contact with them or did the need themselves.

It was truly a very warm, personal and family feeling that permeates Columbus Park West."
